Jim Cogley was raised on a ranch in Eastern Oregon near Klamath Falls. He married his wife Jill, in 1983 and moved to Eugene in 1985. He and Jill have four children, three horses and a variety of animals on their country property near Eugene. He loves to ride horses, fish, play the guitar and travel with his family when he has the time.

After many years in the industry, Jim joined Marathon Coach in May of 1997. Jim now spends about three months each year in Palm Springs and attends many Marathon Coach and FMCA rallies.

Jim attributes the number of people in the market to the growth of the luxury coach industry. "In 1990, a lot of people didn't know what a bus was. Now the number of people in the RV market has caused the high-end line of the market to explode."
